The Chopstix CSE is a collaboration between NSP and some of its top riders requesting an all-around high-performance shortboard that would allow them to surf at the top of their game when the surf is absolutely firing.

NSP Chopstix CSE Design:
The Chopstix features a clean, rounded tail with a thruster fin setup, combined with a single concave running the length of the board and a unique low-forward rocker allowing you to get into waves early and providing massive acceleration and speed control once surfing.
The essence of the Chopstix is an absurdly predictable board for critical moments and a solid platform for driving off the tail, while giving snaps and gouges a powerful feel.
Additional carbon stringers on deck- and bottom provide additional strength.
NSP’s Dual Band Carbon Technology ingeniously integrates dual carbon bands into the core of the board, strategically positioned where a traditional surfboard stringer would be. This innovative approach allows for a stringer-less blank and enhances flex, delivering superior drive and responsiveness. By optimising the flex pattern, these boards offer an exhilaratingly lively feel, providing surfers with unmatched performance and agility on the waves.

CSE Construction
Built with custom surf epoxy lay-up with a clear UV-stable resin and satin rub finish and combined with a CNC-cut EPS core.
The Chopstix CSE is laminated with a full 220g biaxial 4oz deck and 6oz bottom, 4oz patches around the fin boxes, a 6mm wood stringer, a bottom carbon stringer, and a carbon-reinforced tail.
The Chopstix CSE now features an additional carbon stringer on the deck and bottom for additional strength, giving you a durable shortboard with great flex and performance, that feels light and responsive.
