Pro-9 shape<\/h4>\n

The Pro-9 is a longboard with as much shortboard crammed into it as possible. Carl Schaper will often point out the back-third of the board, as it fits almost perfectly on his 6\u20192 step up, with the same thickness, tail dimensions, and rails. The bottom has a soft roll to V in the middle, running into V with a double concave in the tail.<\/p>\n

Designed as a single fin or quad fin set-up, the Pro-9 is a low-volume, extremely high-performance longboard, capable of doing it all with tons of maneuvering and solid nose-riding!<\/p>\n

NSP CSE Pro-9 fin set-up<\/h4>\n

The CSE Pro-9 comes in a 4+1 fin configuration enabling you to be creative in your setup as a quad or thruster. NSP positioned the Surf 10 fin box slightly further back, to make it available for a thruster setup. The Pro-9 comes with FTU fin boxes, making it compatible with Futures\u00ae<\/a><\/span> Fins (fins not included).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

CSE Pro-9 Construction<\/h4>\n

Built with custom surf epoxy lay-up with a clear UV-stable resin and satin rub finish and combined with a CNC-cut EPS core, laminated with full 6+4oz deck and 6oz bottom, a 4oz patch, a 6mm wood stringer, bottom carbon stringer, and carbon-reinforced tail, giving you a durable longboard with great flex and performance, that feels light and responsive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cGot that board under my feet finally today. A couple of things\u2026 <\/em>Paddles really well and sits nicely in the water under my 100kg frame. The first wave a paddled for I missed. Was a little further back than I should have been. But the second wave it glided in really nicely. It felt like it rolled from rail to rail really easy and I feel in a Punchy beach break, it would work nicely.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe speed out of the bottom turns was very clean and didn\u2019t feel to sluggish driving back down from the top of the wave. On rail through tight turns is really leans over and does not feel like it going to bog down. I didn\u2019t get near the nose on it. The waves were more of a race-down-the-line on to an open face kind of style.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n
