In his quest for optimized performance, he incorporated unorthodox materials such as aluminum reinforcement for strength and polyester chrome mylar for speed. Steve started using shiny chrome mylar on the bottom of the board creating some of the most noticeable aesthetic changes of that era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Walden on his
